Snowshoeing in the Arctic TundraDatum: Donnerstag 16 jan 2020 - Sonntag 19 Apr 2020
Join us for this arctic escape away from all civilisation and forget about the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Snowshoeing is a fun and easy winter activity and makes winter hiking a lot more enjoyable.
Leaving from our basecamp in Skarsvåg, we will show you some of the most beautiful fjord scenery around the island of Magerøya. Using a modern version of the traditional snowshoes, we can easily move through the beautiful scenery. The track is easy and although slightly uphill at first, your efforts will rewarded with a stunning view. The most adventurous ones can also make their own tracks in the fresh powder snow.
The tour includes a stop at a 'gamme' where you will be served a hot beverage and traditional snacks, such as reindeer and stockfish.
Choose the evening departure and get the chance to see the northern lights in their full glory.
