Reindeer sledding and Sami culture in Alta valley at Sorrisniva

Show map

This is a unique and intriguing experience amid breathtaking scenery at Sorrisniva in the Alta valley. The Sami family will guide you along through unforgettable events that highlight their past and present culture.

You will meet reindeer, drive your own reindeer sled, and hear stories of the old days and the special singing that is a cornerstone of Sami culture. After the sled ride, you will warm up by the fire in a traditional Sami tent, or “lavvo”, and enjoy hot coffee, tasty cake and other small snacks.

We will provide you with warm clothes and shoes for the trip.

Shuttle is included from Scandic Hotel at 10:30am, return from Sorrisniva after the trip at 2pm.
