The Life of the Sami Reindeer HerdersDate: Friday 15 feb 2019 - Tuesday 30 Apr 2019
During this tour you will have the chance to get up close with one of the arctic's most famous animals, the reindeer. You will have the opportunity to feed them and maybe even touch them.
Once you had a chance to meet the animals, you will board an authentic reindeer sled and experience the way the Sami traveled in the old days. Your Sami host will tell you all about the life cycle of the animals and how the reindeer herders bring their flocks from winter to summer grazing grounds.
While enjoying the stories, you will be served a traditional Sami reindeer soup, also known as bidos.
