Motel and Guesthouse | Berlevåg Motel is unique, a high-quality place with a view over the fjord and countryside, unspoiled nature, wide horizons, arctic lights, colors, and stillness that will turn your stay into an unforgettable experience.
Berlevåg is a small fishing village located at the Varanger peninsula, very close to the fishing grounds. We have two apartments with two bedrooms in each, approximately 40m2. We also have four motel rooms with one bedroom in each. All our rooms have bathrooms, free WiFi, and cable TV – breakfast included.
You should also take the opportunity to dine in our restaurant during your stay; we serve both lunch and dinner and can room up to 30 guests.
Storelva is located just outside Berlevåg Motell – you can fish both salmon and trout in the river. Kongsfjordelva is approximately 40 kilometers away, which is known to be a very an excellent river for salmon fishing.
Berlevåg is also a great place for bird watching, as well as hiking – there are several hiking trails in the area with incredible scenery and nature. The northern light season usually starts around September and last until April.

Welcome to Varanger Arctic Norway
In the far north and as far east as you can go in Norway, where the sky meets the sea, lies Varanger, bathed in the midnight sun and the northern lights of winter. Here the wild landscape meanders through bird-nesting cliffs, fishing villages, and rugged headlands – out to the end of the world.
Nature offers rivers teeming with fish, snow-clad plains, exotic king crabs, birds breeding in spring, leaping salmon, the shining sea, and dancing northern lights. People and traditions make Varanger an Arctic melting pot of communities and cultures. Varanger is a different experience. Scenery and settlements, the light, the colours, the lofty sky and wide horizon, exciting activities and the open people.
