Arctic Outlaws offer a 5-night ski expedition and winter camping trip in Pasvik Valley, the border region of Norway, Russia, and Finland. The trip requires no prior experience, but participants should be able to comfortably walk 12km per day and be reasonably flexible and agile. The trip includes transportation, all meals (except beverages), first/last night at NIBIO Svanhovd, three nights in expedition tents, a guide, and special equipment. The itinerary includes a practical introduction day, back-country skiing, pulling an expedition sled, pitching an expedition tent, preparing food inside the tent, and a possibility of seeing northern lights. The equipment list includes clothing and toiletries that participants need to bring, and Arctic Outlaws provides special equipment, including skis, boots, sleds, tents, and kitchen utensils. Accommodation is provided at NIBIO Svanhovd, a research institute with multiple functions, including accommodation, catering, sauna, TV/fireplace lounge, and conference rooms.
